CCG Compliance consulting team

Built for Precious Metals. Built for Compliance.

CCG Compliance Consulting Group was founded with a single focus: helping dealers in precious metals and stones meet their Bank Secrecy Act obligations with confidence.

Who We Are

Our Story

CCG Compliance Consulting Group was established to fill a gap in the compliance services market. Generalist AML firms serve banks, money services businesses, and a wide range of financial institutions — but precious metals dealers have a distinct regulatory profile that demands specialized knowledge.

FinCEN's rules for dealers in precious metals and stones carry specific requirements around program structure, customer due diligence, suspicious activity reporting, and recordkeeping that differ meaningfully from other covered industries. We built CCG to serve that niche exclusively.

Today, CCG works with jewelry retailers, coin dealers, gold and silver dealers, pawnbrokers, refiners, and precious stone dealers across the United States — providing the same level of compliance expertise that large institutions take for granted, scaled for independent and mid-size businesses.

What We Know

Our Expertise

Bank Secrecy Act

Deep working knowledge of BSA requirements as they apply to dealers in precious metals and stones, including FinCEN's specific program requirements for this sector.

AML Program Design

Hands-on experience building written AML compliance programs that satisfy the five pillars: internal controls, compliance officer designation, training, independent testing, and customer due diligence.

FinCEN Guidance

We track FinCEN advisories, rulings, and enforcement actions relevant to precious metals dealers and translate regulatory developments into practical program updates.

Independent Audits

Objective, third-party testing of AML programs against regulatory expectations — providing the documented independent review FinCEN requires.

SAR & CTR Compliance

Guidance on Suspicious Activity Report and Currency Transaction Report obligations, including thresholds, filing procedures, and recordkeeping requirements.

Staff Training

Practical, sector-specific training that equips your team to recognize red flags, understand their reporting obligations, and apply compliance procedures in day-to-day transactions.

How We Work

Our Approach

We work as an extension of your business — not as outside auditors looking for problems.

01

Sector-Only Focus

We don't split our attention across industries. Every client we serve is a dealer in precious metals or stones, which means our knowledge stays sharp and our advice stays relevant.

02

Practical Over Theoretical

Compliance programs that sit in a drawer don't protect anyone. We build programs that your team can actually use — clear, operational, and proportionate to your business size and risk profile.

03

Outsourced Officer Model

For businesses without a dedicated compliance officer, we step into that role — providing ongoing oversight, regulatory monitoring, and accountability without the cost of a full-time hire.

04

Defensible Documentation

If a regulator reviews your program, your documentation needs to hold up. We build compliance records that demonstrate good-faith effort and regulatory alignment at every step.
